Conclusion
In this webquest you explored ways in which fellow students with Asperger's do and think about things differently from those around them and have a fundamentally different understanding of social interactions. What surprised you the most about what you learned about AS? Did you know it was considered on the same spectrum as autism, even though autism includes severely mentally impaired children? What is the one thing that characterizes how a student with AS will react to social interactions? How will you speak differently next time to a fellow student with AS? Can you tell whether a particular reaction is due to having AS, or whether it's simply a personality quirk? If you meet someone and do not know about their diagnosis, or if they even have one, is it possible to tell whether or not they have AS? What is the most difficult thing about have a friendship with someone who has AS?
Despite knowing so much about the disorder, I'm sure you will still be left with many questions about what it's like to have AS or how to interact in a more productive way with someone who has AS. Each person with AS is as unique as each NT, with their own personality quirks and traits, likes and dislikes. What is the best way to get to know someone with AS, as an individual?
Congratulations! You've finished the WebQuest.
